Opus/Princeton South Update:

December 13th, 2007:

- Latest update on the completion of Charles Ewing Blvd, and the Mark Lane connector:
Opus was scheduled to start Mark Lane in earnest on December 10th, but weather has delayed that start. They are committed to start as soon as there is a break in the weather and they can get 15 good working days to complete the connector. Mark Lane is scheduled to open in early January.

- Rt. 31 work is ongoing. Opus is working with NJ DOT to open phases of the intersection as they are completed:

November 7th, 2007:

- November 8th Site Review meeting - Opus has pulled the initial discussion on the Hotel plan from the Site Review and will not be presenting. They will revisit at a later date.

November 6th, 2007:

- November 8th Site Review meeting - Opus to present initial Hotel plan for Lower Ferry Road and Charles Ewing Blvd corner.

November 5th, 2007:

- Construction continues on the Opus project. To date, Opus has 4 tenants in the first building. One of them, Gallery Cafe, is a park amenity, designed to handle breakfast and lunch for up to 3 of the overall proposed buildings, once occupied. Gallery Cafe is alway open to the public for breakfast and lunch between the hours of 6 am and 2:30 pm.

- Rt. 31 update: Work at Rockleigh Drive and Rt. 31 has just received a boost as NJDOT has given Opus permission for a lane closure during the day. This should provide some relief and move the project along. Previously work was going to have been done strictly at night. A second shift is being planned and selected to get the work done ASAP.

- Mark Lane work will start in the coming weeks. Work will commence after a meeting with Township Constructions and Engineering officials.
